You should consult dietician about diet plan for you during pregnancy. Normally it contains 3 small meals and 2-3 breakfasts. Your meal should contain right amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fat. You should take snacks at bedtime so that your glucose level should remain normal during sleep.
Exercise
Consult your doctor for exercise program that is efficient for you. However exercise can play important role in keeping you away from Gestational Diabetes. It increases consumption of glucose in blood.
Women should keep themselves at healthy weight during pregnancy. It is also important to breast feed a baby born which lowers the chances of overweight and also keep glucose level at normal. And also keep in mind that he should take healthy food and exercise regularly to him from type 2-diabetes.
