Gestational Diabetes Diet
Gestational diabetes is a condition occurs in women during pregnancy. This occurs due to rise in glucose level in blood. However it can be controlled if you take some preventive measures. Balanced diet, exercise and maintaining healthy weight during pregnancy is some the ways by which you can keep normal glucose level.
Consult your dietician and prepare a balanced diet plan during pregnancy. While preparing a diet plan it is important to provide adequate calories, proteins, minerals and nutrition to pregnant woman and also to keep glucose level within permissible limit.
Basically it contains 3 times meal and 2 to 3 times breakfast during day. Meal should contain proper amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Do take a snack (rich in protein) at sleep time, it will help to keep glucose level at normal during sleep.
Take your lunch, dinner, breakfast and medicine as well at same time everyday. You should exercise regularly and at same time every day. This will help in keeping glucose level at normal.
